  • 6 or 7 cloves
  • 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)
  • 1 lemon sliced in rounds
  • 1 bottle of red wine (we recommend King’s Court Baco Noir)
How Mulled wine is made

Let the mulling begin!

  • Add one bottle of wine to a pot on low heat
  • Once you can see steam rising, add your cinnamon, cloves, and lemon slices
  • Let simmer until it is just under boiling and add your sugar (don’t bring it to a boil)
  • Keep at this temperature for 10-15 minutes
  • Serve in a festive mug with cinnamon and lemon garnish of choice, and enjoy!
